The First Sign of Christmas – Christmas Cards

0 Flares 0 Flares ×

For me, the first sign of Christmas is not all the holiday decorations in the stores before Halloween (really Hobby Lobby?), its when I start receiving Christmas cards in the mail!  In a world where everything is automated, electronic and easily visible on my iPhone, going to the mailbox and finding a Christmas card from a friend or family member brightens my day.

Each year, we keep the photo cards that we receive and pull them out the following year.  It is so much fun to see how our friends and families have grown and changed.  Also entertaining is seeing how some people NEVER change (yes, my friend with the same haircut for the last 10 years, I’m talking about YOU).

This year, I’m leaning towards a vintage theme.  Here are just a few of the Christmas cards that I love.  Simple, but elegant and not too busy!

We can’t always been be physically close to our loves ones at this time of year so sending a Christmas card is just one special way of letting them know you’re thinking about them, you miss them and wish them all the best.  Happy holidays!
