Reducing The Stress of Everyday Life

Thanks to Kimberly-Clark for sponsoring post and helping me reduce the stress of everyday life!

It’s 10:22 pm on a Friday night and I’m finally sitting down. Friday’s are supposed to be my “day off” but they are anything but that. Friday is one of the most hectic days of my week and I don’t even step foot in my real office.

Instead of watching day time talk shows (LOVE Steve Harvey) and eating bon bons (what exactly are these anyway), I’m going through my to-do list. By the time noon rolls around I’m mentally exhausted but realize, I’m at the home stretch. Just a few more hours of errands and then it’s time to pick up Brecken from school and we get to do something fun. Fun is such a relative term. For an almost 5 year old, fun is somewhere loud with cake. For an almost 40 year old, fun is somewhere quiet…with cake. 🙂

The stress of everyday life is just something we all have to deal with so that’s why I like to simplify things as much as possible. Instead of making multiple trips to the grocery store, I make a list and get everything I need for the week. I stock up on staples such as paper towels and toilet paper so I never run out. Nothing is more frustrating than finding out someone used the last roll of toilet paper at nine o’clock at night AFTER I’ve gone to the bathroom!

pick up the values

Kimberly-Clark wants to make summertime a bit less stressful while saving you money! That’s why they created the Pick Up The Values program that provides coupons for trusted brand essentials for your family. Everyone I know wants to stretch their budgets even further and makes it convenient to get the coupons you need. From brands such as Scott, Huggies, Viva and Poise, they probably have a coupon for a product you are currently using.

Want to know even more? Make sure to follow the Pick Up the Values program on Facebook and Twitter.

  1. I know exactly what you are saying about the stress your feeling on Fridays. I think we are times more of our own task master than what any supervisor could possibly be. I loved learning about this Pick Up the Values program and will check it out. Finding a bargain is a great way to get rid of stress and give myself a pat on the back for a job well done. Sounds like something I could use.
