Free Printable To Do Lists

I love lists.  There is something about sitting down at the beginning (or end) of my day and creating lists that makes my heart go pitter-patter.  I know, you think I’m weird but before you jump to all kinds of conclusions about me, think about it this way. How many times have you gone out to run errands (unprepared – you know, without your list) and come home only to realize that you forgot to pick up the dry cleaning or the dog food? And don’t get me started on going to the grocery store. While it’s true, I rarely stick to the items only on my list, coming home to find out I forgot a key ingredient for my awesome Asian inspired meatballs makes me sad. 🙁

The other thing I like about lists is the feeling I get when I cross something off.  I like that feeling of accomplishment. Knowing that I did all my “chores” for the day makes falling asleep at night just a tad bit easier.  It’s true, sometimes I’ll put super easy things on my list just so I can cross them off.  You know, things like “drink a Diet Coke” or “research tropical vacation ideas.”  Fun and easy things like that have to counterbalance doing my taxes or flossing my teeth.

Now, I’m old-fashioned when it comes to my personal to do lists. I like to use paper (recycled paper for all you greenies out there) and pen. I like my to do lists to be pretty, because you know, I’m going to throw it away at the end of the day. 🙂  I’ve found there are a ton of fun free printable to do lists out in the internet land and have compiled a list of my favorites for you.

To Do: To Delegate – you have to love a list that has a column for delegating tasks!

The List – what makes this list awesome is that there are different categories of things to-do. The List will help you manage almost everything in your life.

If you like to make lists for the week, then the Weekly  To Do List is for you.

Everyone needs a Honey Dew list!

Honey Dew List

If I’ve crossed at least two things off my daily to do list, then I feel like I’ve accomplished something. Every now and then I’ll have a day where everything gets crossed off my list and I have to celebrate, usually by making another list…lol! If getting organized was one of your goals for 2013, then I highly recommend using paper and pen to write down the things you need to do each day. I bet you’ll be amazes at how much you really do accomplish!

  1. I think this is one my favorite posts by you and maybe even by anyone so far – definitely so far this year ;p I too LOVE LOVE LOVE lists. Problem is, I think I have too many and need to organize myself with just one list. I am thinking about getting some kind of board to put in my kitchen next to the calendar (still in the proces of making) but want to include a to do list on there and I think I could use one (or all?) of these lists – wait – see above note, must consolidate and only have 1 list. I have also been in search of a good to do app for my phone. I think I found one that I like as I most always have my phone on me and can keep track of my needs or add to the list easily too. But like you, I really do like practicing my penmanship on paper 🙂

    • I think you should have one master list that you work from. Multiple lists get too confusing but maybe you use different lists for different days/weeks depending on what you have going on? Except for the Honey Dew list – I think I need to make one of those for you with Star Wars characters or something. It might get more attention that way. 🙂

  2. I super love the template..So excited to make a list now.

  3. Thanks! Love the honey dew list!

  4. I am a HUGE list maker. I seriously have lists everywhere. This is a great collection. Thank you for sharing… I am sure my husband will appreciate you adding to my addiction. 🙂

  5. Great list of printables! Sending this to a few Mom friends, we were just wishing for a couple of these the other day – thanks!

  11. I am slightly neurotic about my list making so thankyou very much! These are nice looking templates!

  12. Oh those are awesome! I could definitely use them in helping to get my home more organized, especially with the family chores! I can make a list of things to do each day, and then as someone in the house does it, it can be crossed off. I love all the different kinds you found.

  13. I love lists, especially crossing things off of to-do lists! 🙂 Thanks for the printables!

  14. I’m definitely not a list writer, because I always misplace them, or never look at them at the grocery store, and still forget items, even when I have my list with me…BUT these printables may change that! Thanks so much!

    • I do that too (grocery store)! I think it’s because I get so sidetracked looking at the new products that aren’t on my list!

  15. The Honey Dew list would be perfect for our house…except it would be for me, not for my husband 🙁

  16. Ooooh I love lists!! I try to do a grocery list, but yeah I don’t follow it real well.

However for packing a list is a must! With 2 adults and 2 kids I will for sure forget something (usually my pajamas)..pinning this!

  17. Jacqui Odell says:

I am always looking for things like this!!

  18. I am so glad you put these together in one place! I am a HUGE list maker, and I think these templates will make it easy to keep track of everything.

  19. Love these printables! I am always looking for the best to do list!

  20. im with you on having paper lists. I like them so much better than electronic ones! I seem to always put way too much on my list.

  21. I’m still a pen and paper girl! Nothing gets done if I don’t actually write it down, it’s like the mental act of writing hand to paper makes it more important or something!

  22. One of the most clever ideas I’ve seen. You did a FABULOUS job. Creative and practical. I love it. Might just do one for myself! Thanks 🙂

  23. love love THE List! Just what I need, thanks so much 🙂
